#1 Chisel Plane - Shop Display Model, base has a scratch

The Luban #1 Chisel Plane is the little brother of the #3 - a modern version of the original Stanley No.97 Cabinetmakers Edge Plane, which was designed for cleanup and trimming inside work, where the space is limited and the use of any other plane is difficult. 

This a special purpose plane, useful for cleaning into the corners of stopped rebates, trimming semi-dry glue squeeze out, cutting drips and runs from finishes between coats and it's size lends itself to working in very tight spaces.  Minimal final honing and tuning is required prior to use.
