  • Excellent cutting performance is reached by sides tapering in height and lengthwise from tip to shoulder for sidewall clearance
  • Forged blade is made of traditional Cr-Mn steel and is heat treated to 59 HRc
  • Ergonomic handle from beech wood enables firm grip and is strong enough to withstand heavy blows with a mallet

Serious Product- Narex Value

Although I have a power mortiser, (bought from Brian at BPM), I love chopping out mortises by hand. It's fun, incredibly satisfying and really quite easy. Mortise chisels have been impossible to get in South Africa for many years. Thanks to BPM, you can get a set of five decent chisels for R799.00
Go figure it out, a full, quality set of double hooped chisels for about R160.00 each. This is VALUE!!
I have used mine daily, they take an edge easily, hold it well and you can pound and lever these chisels all day... I fully recommend the set of five.
