Our MIG, TIG, MMA welders and plasma cutters are of the highest quality, with advanced features such as precision controls, multi-process capabilities, and durable construction that ensures long-lasting performance. We have MIG welders, TIG welders, stick welders, and plasma cutters, from renowned brands Matweld and Tradeweld each designed to deliver superior results in welding and metal fabrication.
MIG (metal inert gas) welding works by feeding a metal wire through a gun to melt and create a permanent joint. The wire acts as both the electrode and the feed material that goes into the weld. This process is achieved under the shielding of an inert gas which prevents oxygen and other contaminants from reacting with the molten metal.
TIG stands for tungsten inert gas and is technically called gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW). The process uses a non-consumable tungsten electrode that delivers the current to the welding arc. An inert gas, typically argon, protects and cools the tungsten and weld puddle.
Manual metal arc welding (MMA or MMAW), also known as shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), flux shielded arc welding or stick welding, is a process where the arc is struck between an electrode flux coated metal rod and the work piece.
Plasma cutters are machines that use a process known as plasma-arc cutting to slice through metal. When you weld, the result is something that has been melted and fused using heat. Plasma-arc cutting uses an electrical arc to melt metals instead of welding them, so it's much faster than traditional welding techniques.
MIG (metal inert gas) welding is an excellent choice for beginning welders. This easy-to-handle machine is usually spool-fed to create professional-looking joints on both thick and thin metals.
We understand that buying a welding machine can be overwhelming, which is why we have a team of experts ready to help you make the right decision. Our customer service is second to none, and we are committed to ensuring your satisfaction with every purchase.
