Beading Router bit
Carbide Tipped
Beading bits are similar to the round over profile, but a smaller bearing produces a delicate inset at the base of the cut, giving you an extra decorative option.
Cut a quarter-round shape bounded by fillets, known as a bead, in one pass by this router bit. The width of one fillet is set by the pilot bearing size, while the other is controlled by the depth of cut.
Beading bits create attractive decorative edging that gives a unique finish to the workpiece.
Tip: Cut the ends first and then the sides. Less tear-out is achieved by cutting the end grain first.
This router bit has a 6.35 mm shank (shaft) that will fit most small or large routers. Please ensure that you select a router bit with a shank (shaft) size that will fit into your router collet.
