Tormek Sharpening Machines - Tool Review

Steve's Product of the Week

Tormek 2000 Super Grind

This is the premium Tormek sharpener of two generations ago, but still works perfectly. Better still all the parts are completely interchangeable with the latest Tormek T-8.

In a world of planned obsolescence it is so refreshing to have a premium tool that continues to be supported decades after it was manufactured. Tormek embodies elegant simplicity, ease of operation with a high degree of accuracy and repeatability. Without a doubt my hardest working jig is the regular knife jig which works well with blades from 75mm to 200mm.

There are loads of sharpening machine clones out there, yet Tormek continues to lead the pack when it comes to reliability and quality and still outsells the cheep Chinese "copies" all over the world.

When you buy a Tormek, you are truly buying a tool that will last a lifetime!
