  • The Chisels all feature innovative and improved cross-section of the blade that minimises friction when cutting into wood
  • Improved grinding of the edges creates especially thin sides which are in particular needed for dovetailing and other fine joinery
  • The ergonomic handles are made from hard and hefty hornbeam wood which is exceptionally strong enough to withstand heavy mallet blows

These chisels are way better than their price suggests. They take and hold an edge well and I have thoroughly enjoyed using them.

Excellent Value from Narex

What a great set of bench chisels. Start off with this set and add the other four piece set to it as funds allow and the top up with a couple of extra wides for a complete set at well under R200.00 per chisel!! The blades are well formed, take an edge quite easily, hold a razor edge very well and sit most comfortably in the hand over long periods at the bench. I fully recommend these as a very good quality bench chisel set, whether you are starting out or are a seasoned cabinetmaker.
